Background
The Forum of Research and Public Engagement of the Ateneo is the virtual space that the University of Turin has chosen to enhance, share and promote participation on issues of scientific and humanities research. A portal where researchers themselves narrate the developments of their work.
Concept
From Frida to Superfrida.
The creative challenge
We worked together on the creation of a new brand identity and the development of a new site, which would be able to engage, interact and retain new audiences.
Execution
We started with a co-design workshop involving Frida’s internal team leaders to define the goals, personas, and user journey of the forum.
We then took a human-centered-design approach to transform the site into an interactive platform for doing, discovering, and questioning. The front end code itself was custom-developed so as to ensure greater speed and accessibility.
Last but not least, enhancing the launch of the new portal was the new brand identity, which is fresh, youthful and recognizable.
