In Italy, the Constitution guarantees citizens the right to protest peacefully. However, the new government has led to the adoption of several measures that seem to be aimed at discouraging activism and participation in protests through the constant criminalization of peaceful protesters.
The creative challenge
Amnesty Italy wants to put back at the center the value of protest as an agent of change and restore proper dignity to those who promote, organize and participate in peaceful protests.

Execution
The campaign spotlights some of the most important historical protests that have led to the recognition of fundamental rights over the years. Rights we can enjoy today, thanks to those who took to the streets yesterday, reminding everyone to act in the present in view of what will be the rights of tomorrow.
